Community Health Officer (CHO)

The State Health Society, Bihar invites online applications from eligible Indian citizens for the contractual post of Community Health Officer (CHO). CHOs will lead the primary care provider team (including male/female health workers, ASHAs, etc.) at Health & Wellness Centers to implement public health programs, promote health, and provide comprehensive primary healthcare services.

Educational Qualifications:

B.Sc. (Nursing) or Post Basic B.Sc. (Nursing) with successful completion of a six-month Certificate in Community Health (CCH), integrated into the curriculum from academic year 2020 onwards

OR GNM / B.Sc. / Post Basic B.Sc. Nursing with standalone Certificate in Community Health (CCH) through IGNOU or a State-recognized Public Health/Medical University as per guidelines from the Ministry of Health & Family Welfare, Government of India
