Clinical Site Co-Ordinator

The States of Guernsey – Health & Social Care is hiring a Clinical Site Co-Ordinator (Band 7) to manage and oversee patient flow and care delivery, particularly during nights, weekends, and public holidays—with a shift to a full 24-hour schedule beginning January 2025.

In this key role, you will:

Oversee deteriorating or acutely unwell patients

Make initial assessments and coordinate emergency responses

Support staff across Acute, Community, and Elderly Mental Health units

Facilitate inter-hospital and off-island patient transfers

Join the resuscitation team

Serve as a clinical advisor and decision-maker to ensure efficient use of beds and critical care resources


Desirable: Option to rotate into Critical Care Unit (based on experience and interest)

Requirements:

Valid UK professional registration

Subject to DBS check as per the Rehabilitation of Offenders Act (England & Wales)

Strong leadership and clinical decision-making skills

Advanced communication and multidisciplinary collaboration abilities
