Device Fingerprint and Location Data

When a guest or Nano-Muse user submits a review, WikiVow.com may record non-intrusive technical identifiers such as device fingerprint, approximate location (city or region level), browser environment, and submission timestamp.

This information is collected solely for platform integrity, abuse prevention, fraud detection, duplicate review control, and trust scoring. It is not used for advertising, tracking across platforms, or personal profiling.

All such data is processed and stored in the best possible secure server environment made available by Indian hosting service providers. WikiVow relies on infrastructure assurances provided by its hosting partners and follows reasonable security practices as required under Indian law.

Anonymous Yet Accountable Participation

The Nano-Muse system enables users to remain publicly anonymous while still ensuring that reviews are tied to a consistent device and environment. This balance allows users to express honest experiences without fear, while discouraging impersonation, mass abuse, or manipulation.

Guest Review Transfer to Registered Accounts

If a user later registers on WikiVow.com using the same device or verified environment, previously submitted guest or Nano-Muse reviews may be securely and automatically associated with that registered account.

This transfer improves transparency, continuity, and user ownership of content. Once transferred, such reviews are treated as user-owned content subject to the same policies as registered user submissions.

Review transfer is a platform feature and not a guarantee. In certain cases, reviews may remain anonymous where technical or legal constraints apply.

Semi-Autonomous Review Moderation
